Baseline Models

• Random Forest - grid search for parameters, used in single point downscaling task.
• Elastic-Net - 10-fold cross validation tuning parameters, used in single point downscaling task.
• GLM - used in both single point and 2d grid downscaling tasks.
• Covariate Search - method used for training:
  • Add variables in descending order of absolute correlation.
  • Keep variable in model if it improves \(R^2\) metric.
